At the North Sea Aquarium you can see the kinds of fish and plants that live in the sea. You can admire artistic interpretations of life by the sea at the Kunstmuseum aan Zee. The cultural city of Ostend boasts stunning historic buildings, such as the Pepperbusse, Sint-Petrus-en-Pauluskerk (Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul), the English Church and the Spaans Huisje (Spanish House). Shoppers can head to the Feest- en Kultuurpaleis shopping paradise, which houses 17 well-known, international high street shops.
