Description
Het Witte Paard is a cosy 3-star family-run hotel, which is opened in 1983 and never been closed again! It is located in the town where Vincent van Gogh learned to draw and where his father used to preach in a small church, the present-day 'Raadszaal' (council hall) of Etten-Leur.
The rooms of the inn are all equipped with a bathroom with a toilet and a bath or shower, a television and a telephone. Wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel at a fee. For a nice drink guests can use the mini bar in their room. The hotel also has a laundry service. On sunny days guests can relax on the grand terrace outside the hotel. Additionally, guests can use the Spa Centre in the Trivium Hotel, which is 2 kilometres away from Herberg het Witte Paard. The hotel can offer a few hours' or an entire day's worth of relaxation, at sharply reduced prices. Special treatments and massages can be booked on request.
Food and Drinks
The luxury breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 06:00 to 10:00 h. On weekends guests can have breakfast from 07:30 to 10:30 h. Until 17:00 h. you can order from the lunch menu. In the restaurant they serve seasonal specialities. Every month the restaurant puts together a new menu. In the café 'De Huiskamer van Etten-Leur' ('Etten-Leur' living room) guests can have a nice drink. The monumental building dates from 1828. One can also comfortably relax in the lounge with a cup of coffee.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check-in until 22:30 h. In case you would like to check-in after 22:30 h., you need to contact the reception in advance.

Herberg het Witte Paard is located in Etten-Leur, which is about 8 kilometres from Breda. Breda is an old garrison and fortress town with several monumental buildings, among which the 'Grote Kerk' church and the castle 'Kasteel van Breda'. By car or public transportation guests can easily reach the lively city of Antwerp. Within 30 minutes you can take your children to the fairy-tale theme park 'De Efteling' in Kaatsheuvel.
