Description
Go for a walk on the beach, spot birds in the polder outside of Formerum or make a bicycle ride in the dunes; these are all possible activities during a stay at the Strandhotel on the Frysian island of Terschelling. Or cycle to West-Terschelling, a village with several shops and restaurants. Here you will also find the oldest lighthouse of the Netherlands, the Brandaris.
The Strandhotel Terschelling offers airy rooms with a view of the dunes or the sea. All rooms have box-spring beds, a television and a washbasin. In the corridor you can use the shared bathroom. Bathrobes are available at a small charge.

Breakfast awaits you from 08:30 till 10:00 h. each morning
In the restaurant you can daily have lunch or dinner. The restaurant offers a cosy sitting area at the wood-burning stove. At the bar you can ask for magazines and books.
In the low season the restaurant is open from Thursday till Sunday. If you stay at the hotel during this period, it is possible to join the staff for dinner on weekdays.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until an hour after the last boat has arrived on the island.

Formerum lies on the Frysian island of Terschelling, directly at the beach and the sea. This makes the Strandhotel a perfect holiday destination for each season.
