From the Stadsappartement (‘city apartment’) it’s a few minute’s walk to the Grote Markt main square, the Stadsschouwburg theatre or the Groninger Museum.
In the bustling student city there’s always something to experience. In summer there are numerous outdoor cafes and many events are organized, such as the Noorderzon festival in the Noorderplantsoen park at the end of August each year.
The Stadsappartement is a perfect base for exploring Groningen. The apartment has a separate living area with television, a well-stocked book shelf, a CD/DVD player and even an old-fashioned record player. In summer the sunny garden is wonderful for relaxing. Besides, the kitchen is provided with all facilities, such as a dishwasher. The bedroom offers comfortable box spring beds that supply a good night’s rest.

On the way from the Stadsappartement to the attractive centre of Groningen you pass through the Noorderplantsoen park. In the centre are many nice shops, restaurants, places of entertainment and interesting sights, such as the Martini tower and Grote Markt and Vismarkt squares. Are you an arts and culture enthusiast? You will love the Groninger museum. Are you more into fleeing the city? The rural part of the province with it’s characteristic and pretty Dutch landscapes is very nearby, it can even be reached on foot or by bike.
