De Stadsherberg is a small Inn that lies approximately five minutes from the city centre of Franeker. This inn dates back from the beginning of the 19th century and is situated along an old ferry route. The view of the water is fantastic. The Inn has two sun rooms and a terrace where guests can enjoy a cold drink.

- In verband met kleine bezetting kregen we een luxere kamer als we hadden geboekt voor dezelfde prijs als we hadden afgesproken. Gezellige kamer. We hebben nog 1 dag bijgeboekt.

- Personeel heel erg vriendelijk. De kamers zijn klein maar de bedden lagen heerlijk. Mooie badkamer. Ontbijt was heerlijk. Het restaurant was supergezellig met zicht op het bevroren meertje.

- Nice and comfortable family accommodation in the midst of Harlingen
- It's a lovely, very central and quiet location, in the midst of Harlingen. Very well preserved and functionally converted period warehouse. Very comfortable accommodation, two level split apartment - way above a standard hotel room! Great to have a separate living room cum kitchen in addition to bedrooms! Nice breakfast included also - a very nice mixture between holiday apartment and hotel!
- The furnishings are partially a little bit dated, but nonetheless clean. Bathroom had some broken light fittings. On Saturday night it was very noisy due to an open air disco in town, audible just about everywhere - but that's not the accommodation's fault!

- Klein kamertje (1-p) onder het dak. Nu het vroor was het moeilijk warm te krijgen. Ontbijt beetje karig. Diner aan de dure kant, doen zich duurder voor dan dat je geleverd krijgt.
