Description
Pension Tivoli is situated in an atmospheric area on the Zuiderdiep in the centre of Groningen. Here you'll find many cosy bars and restaurants, and a large cinema is located right across the street from the guesthouse. The central train station is just walking distance, as is the Groninger Museum.
The rooms at Pension Tivoli come with a television, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, wireless Internet and a washbasin with hot and cold water. The shower and toilet are in the hall. The hotel also has a double room with a shower. All triple and quad rooms come with a shower. A café is located on the ground floor.
Food and Drinks
Breakfast is served at the guesthouse from 07:30 - 09:30. Please inform us in the booking form if you wish to have breakfast. Staff can prepare a packed lunch for you on request.
The café underneath the guesthouse is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 14:00 - 23:00, and on Friday and Saturday from 14:00 - 02:00. The café is closed on Sunday and Monday. The guesthouse does not have a restaurant. However, you will find several restaurants in the direct vicinity, e.g. on the Zuiderdiep and around the Vismarkt square.

Guests can make free use of wireless Internet at the guesthouse.

- The guesthouse does not have a 24-hour reception. If you would like to check-in after 20:00, you'll need to contact the reception in advance.
- It is not possible to place an additional bed in the room.
- Pets are allowed for free on request.
- Luggage can be stored at the guesthouse (on request).
Surroundings
From Pension Tivoli you can easily explore the student town of Groningen on foot. Walk through the Folkingestraat past the nice shops and small restaurants and you'll come to the Vismarkt, where a market is held several times a week. The Grote Markt square is surrounded by many bars and outdoor terraces, as is the Martinitoren. Many city and regional buses stop in front of the guesthouse allowing you to easily reach and discover different areas of Groningen, the city as well as the province.

You can contact the guesthouse on weekdays from 9:00 - 12:00 by telephone. The telephone number will be stated in your booking confirmation. During the weekend you will be able to contact the guesthouse by using the link in your booking confirmation or by contacting our Reservations Department.
