Best Western Hotel Scholtenhagen is conveniently located in a radius of 15 kilometres from Enschede and Hengelo. A day of shopping in these cities can be combined with a bicycle trip in the nature reserve Lankheterbos. Bicycles can be rented at the reception.

The estate around the castle Kasteel Twickel near Delden is also worth a visit.
