beds came with a bright clean "dekbedhoeje".. I like it!.

• + great breakfast
• – smalish shower cabin. In other hotels I have found the larger shower cabins fantastic. If there was one thing you could do to creat a Wow! factor.. a large shower cabin would be it..
• * my tip downtown Groningen by bus. Non stop bus to city center was great.

Nice Hotel !

A lovely hotel with good humoured , helpful staff.

• + Staff were very helpful . Actual hotel was fine and comfortable , spacious. Very happy with the price and the breakfast was very good. Clean and organised. Stakk were cheerful and good speak good English.
• – The staff couldn't find a needle and thread when we asked for one. We wanted to go into Groningen daily but were horrified by the taxi fares. Could the hotel look at providing a twice a day shuttle service with a mini bus at same price as the bus service?

the coldest place in the north of Holland.

• + Meals and breakfast.
• – We arrived at 17.00 p.m. Our room was icecold en that did not change better when we turned the central heating on "hot". At 21.00 I phoned the receptiondesk to complain and they told us that they would change the temperature. At 22.30 is was 16 oC. I called again en told that wetook a hot shover etc.but we had very cold feet and h ands. Tey offered us another room, but I am disabled and already had gone to bed. The next morgen at 7.00 a.m. it was still cold en we went to the breakfastroom. At 12.00 a.m. we checked out, still cold. We will not recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

• + Good indication to find the place by internet. Quiet room
• – Expiry date of 1 chocolate bag:2006!!! has been given at the reception the day of departure. housekeeping should replace the sheets more often. No laundry services: Ridiculous!!! TV channels too poor.

• – If you don't have your oun transportation the location is not that good.

Groningen visitor

• + Spacious room with a double and a single bed. Good parking. Good access to park and ride bus for Groningen. Ten minute walk to centre of Haren with all services. Good value.
• – Expensive breakfast (14,50). Rooms are awkward to reach from the lobby. Internet is not included.

• – The room was small and no bathtub!

• + large room, excellent breakfast buffet, convenient checkin and out

• + Friendly and helpfull front desk service, clean and good breakfast.
• – No airco. The family rooms were quite hot. Someone was smoking a few tinmes in the hallway near the elevator

• – Niet overal een lift, sjouwen met koffers Niet alle kamers voorzien van een radio Geen ethernet netwerk, alleen wi-fi (niet veilig)

• – A big minus is that you didn´t stop the reservation of money in my visacard that I booked the hotel with, even thoug I payed in cash. I had to borrow money when I got home for a week until my bank could abort the transaction. You need to have a system that abort the transaction from visa if the customer already payed. This cost me a lot of problems that I couldn´t reach the 244 euro for a week that I had planed to live on and pay bills with for the rest of the month, and left me with 7 euro on my account.

• + * Borowing bicycles was for free
• – * We payed in cash, wich was optional, but the hotel still charged our visacard! (The "reserved" the money.) This coused us a great deal of problems since it was that money we were going to use for food, small trips and so on. The staff claimed that the had NOT drawn/reserved/held money from your account and that their system don´t work that way. But obviesly it does! Very, very BAD system!! What was we suppose to do, without money and a hotelstaff that clamied the didn´t have anything to do with it..?
