The family hotel Het Wapen van Harmelen is part of the hotel chain Holland Hotel. During your stay in this hotel you can enjoy the hospitality of the hotel staff. The hotel was founded in 1904, which makes it one of the oldest hotels in The Netherlands. Its central location makes it a perfect place to stay for either a business trip or a tourist visit.
Besides the main building the hotel has an annex with modern rooms, of which some have a view of the pastures. The rooms are equipped with a television, telephone and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet.

The breakfast awaits you from 06:30 to 10:00 h. on week days and from 08:00 to 10:30 h. on the weekend.
In the restaurant you can choose from a variety of dishes on the menu. Seasonal specialities are available as well. The restaurant is open on week days from 18:00 to 21:00 h. and on the weekend from18:00 to 20:00 h. On Sunday the kitchen is closed, but there are several restaurants nearby.
In the afternoon you can also enjoy a lunch, either inside in the lunch room or outside on the terrace. Furthermore the hotel has a lively bar, where nice drinks are served.

Surroundings
To enjoy the rural area you can rent a bicycle at Hotel Het Wapen van Harmelen (reservations need to be made in advance). There are several hiking and cycling routes for you to enjoy. One of the sights worth visiting can be found at just 4 kilometres from Harmelen: Kasteel 'de Haar'. Here you can have a guided tour or walk in the beautiful gardens.
