The 3-star Babylon Hotel is a pleasant and cosy modern hotel in Heerhugowaard. In spite of the nearby exit roads, the hotel enjoys a peaceful location near numerous places worth visiting and beautiful nature. Also Amsterdam and Alkmaar are within easy reach.
Babylon combines a hotel, a grand café, a restaurant and a bar. Once a month a very popular dinner show is organized. Entrance is free, but it is advised to make reservations for it. On other days Babylon is a fun party location as well, so it is ideal for an evening out; you don't have to drive home! Weather permitting, the terrace is a lovely place to enjoy the sunshine.
The deluxe, modern hotel rooms have a tasteful design and include a flat screen television and comfortable beds in which even tall people can sleep very well. In the en suite bathroom you will find the toilet and shower.
Food and Drinks
In the attractive Grand Café restaurant breakfast is served from 07:00 until 10:00 h. on weekdays and from 08:30 until 11:00 h. on the weekend. At lunch or dinner time you can also choose something tasty from the excellent menu with many locally grown organic ingredients. It is fun to see how the passionate chefs prepare your dish in the open kitchen. The kitchen is open between 07:00 and 22:30 h. You can also have lunch or dinner al-fresco.
You can have your drink on the sun terrace or inside. The bar or Grand Café is open until midnight from Sunday to Thursday and until 01:00 h. on Friday and Saturday. Babylon is the place for celebrating anniversaries, weddings and birthdays, but also for business events; there is even a roof terrace!

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. If you would like to check in after 18:00 h., you can check yourself in, by using the self-incheck-kios. It is open untill 24:00 h.

The beach and the beautiful historic city of Alkmaar with its cheese market and many shops are located at a 10-minute ride from Hotel Bed en Babylon Heerhugowaard. Recreational areas such as the Park van Luna with its beach and the Geestmerenambacht are perfect for biking. The Poldermuseum is interesting for those that like to learn about the typical Dutch polders.
