Bastion Hotel Heerlen lies to the north-west of the city centre of Heerlen. This location gives guests a good connection to cities like Maastricht and Aachen. Omdat het continu regende is het feit dat je via buiten van de kamer naar het hotel moet minder fijn (jas aan / jas uit) maar het hotel heeft wel een bak met paraplu's beschikbaar dus dat is weer een pluspunt!

Friendly owners, very clean, and nice breakfast for good price!

I would recommend this hotel. Very friendly and helpfull personell who make the stay enjoyable; rooms neat & tidy; never experienced a cleaner bathroom in a hotel. Breakfast is super! Freshly baked bread, eggs, fruit, juice, etc. Service at the table.

Only minor points: I personally prefer the matrasses on the bed to be a bit less soft. Rooms are not very large, but this is not really a problem if you stay for short holiday. The location is a bit away from the railway station/Valkenburg centre (10-15 minutes walk).

Best Western Hotel Slenaken is located on top of a hill in the province of Limburg. It offers a beautiful view of the <i>Gulp</i> valley and even Belgium. The lovely nature tour <i>De Mergellandroute</i> can be found nearby. The hotel has excellent facilities for children, such as a playground.

A good choice if you want to see Sittard

Excellent location in centre of Sittard right on the market square where there are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. The main shopping is located on the streets leading off the square. Room we were allocated (#37)was clean,functional and very quiet being situated in a small annexe section of the hotel just off the square.

Locating the hotel is not easy as it is not visible from any surrounding roads - detailed directions or sat-nav are essential!!! Access and parking are a problem as this very limited. The stairs up to the room were very steep with the individual steps being very narrow and as such are not be suitable for anyone who has any mobility problems.

Goede keuze

Het hotel is zeer goed gelegen, dicht bij de gezellige terassen en op loopafstand van alles wat Valkenburg te bieden heeft. De kamers zijn ruim en schoon het is echter wel gehorig maar het is dan ook al een oud pand. Het ontbijt is goed je krijgt meer dan voldoende.

één minpuntje is dat de auto op een onbewaakte parkeerplaats moest staan.
