With a location near national reserve 'de Sallandse Heuvelrug' Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Hellendoorn is an ideal base for hikes and bicycle trips. Besides this scenic area you can also visit Hanseatic towns such as Zwolle, Deventer and Oldenzaal, where nice boutiques, museums and other sights can be found. The hotel is located in the old village of Hellendoorn. When you are travelling with children a visit to the nearby theme park Hellendoorn' ensures a fun time.

In the hotel you can take a seat in the cosy lounge and for a nice dinner there is an atmospheric restaurant. On sunny days the outside terrace is an excellent spot. Enjoy some relaxation in the sauna or the solarium, which guests can use at an additional charge. You can also play a game of billiards or table tennis.

Bad hygiene, quality and service. Not enjoyable.
  • + Good location for nearby concert grounds - long walk to concert though. Nice outside area.
  • – I purchased this hotel stay as a birthday present for my boyfriend to accompany concert tickets. I called the hotel the same day 3 hours before arrival to check that they would put some fresh fruit and beer/wine in the room as a surprise. They said this would be done. When we arrived, there was no fruit, beer or wine in the room, however when it came to paying, I was charged 12.50 EUR for the fruit and 18 EUR for the alcohol. Also there was rubbish (pistachio shells) around the bin in the bathroom, the bed sheets had holes in them, there was a used towel in the bathroom from the guests before us, there was an empty tissue box on the wall of the bathroom. All in all, we cannot say this was an enjoyable experience.
