Description
The characteristic Hotel Kuiperduin is housed in a former parsonage in Hoek van Holland.The hotel has a cosy lounge with a television, DVD player and an honesty bar. The French doors open onto the terrace and the garden, where you can relax on one of the chaises longues in summer. The hotel offers rooms for 1 to 4 persons and most rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet. All rooms have a television, refrigerator, desk, wireless Internet and coffee and tea making facilities.
Hoek van Holland offers enough possibilities for a day out. It lies on the North Sea coast and at the beginning of the canal Nieuwe Waterweg. The beach of Hoek van Holland is within walking distance of Hotel Kuiperduin and is attractive in all seasons. Besides a beautiful wide beach and a pristine dunes, there are several museums.
Less than half an hour drive from Hotel Kuiper Duin lie Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague.In these cities you can shop extensively, go to the theater or visit a museum. In Rotterdam you can visit the famous Museum Boijmans van Beuningen. In Delft are the popular museums het Prinsenhof and the Vermeer Centrum. In The Hague you can find the beautiful museum Mauritshuis, adjacent to the Het Binnenhof, where the Dutch government is seated.

During the week you can have breakfast from 06:45 to 09:30 h. and in the weekend from 08:00 to 10:00 h.
It is also possible to enjoy a drink in the hotel bar. The bar is open daily from 15:00 to 01:00 h.

Surroundings
Near Hotel Kuiperduin in Hoek van Holland are several museums, devoted mostly to the themes of sea and water. Among others, you will find the Expo Pavilion of the Waterway Centre, the Museum Verenigde Nederlandsche Scheepvaartmaatschappij, the Dutch coastal defence museum 'Fort aan den Hoek van Holland', a rescue museum and a ferry service museum. You can also visit a museum in an old lighthouse and the museum Keringhuis Maeslantkering. The Maeslantkering was built in the late nineties of the last century and this dam is part of the most recent part of the Delta Works, the Europoortkering.
