Near Hotel Dolores Hollum is a bus stop. The picturesque village Hollum has a nice history. In the 15th century the town was inhabited by many whalers. This is reflected in the small houses which stand between whale teeth. A visit to the lighthouse is worthwhile, from the 55 meter high tower you have a beautiful view over the island. For lovers of nature the island offers nice nature areas, such as the 'Hon' where you can see thousands of birds when it is high tide. This breeding area for over 60 bird species is a must for birdwatchers.
