From Hotel de Keizerskroon you can explore the surroundings of Hoorn and Westfriesland excellently. Main attractions of the city are the marinas and De Waag. De Waag is a building that used to be the centre of the cheese markets. In the old days, the cheeses were weighed here. To continue this tradition somewhat, a tourist cheese market is held each Thursday in June. In Hoorn are many listed buildings, among which De Waag, but also various warehouses and the Statenlogement. The lively shopping centre is recommended for lovers of shopping.
For business guests the hotel is also very comfortable. A meeting room with modern equipment for gatherings, trainings or events is available, maximum capacity 45 persons.
