The Parkhotel Horst is a Hampshire Classic hotel at a beautiful location in a recreational area with woods and water in north Limburg. A private wellness centre, free parking facilities and a restaurant are just some of the excellent amenities in this hotel.
Enjoy a stay in the unique Parkhotel in Horst. This 4-star hotel is located in a recreational area in Horst, close to Venlo in the northern part of the province Limburg. The building resembles a castle and is beautifully situated at the water in woody surroundings. From the hotel rooms and almost every other area you have a vast view of the lake. By car the hotel is easy to reach via exit 10 of the A73 motorway and furthermore there are free parking spaces.
The hotel has 74 comfortable rooms, two luxurious suites and a bridal suite. Besides that there are excellent amenities such as a restaurant, an outside terrace at the water, a lounge, elevator, brasserie and a grand-café. The eight meeting rooms have modern audiovisual equipment. An experienced staff awaits you, which ensures a succesful business meeting. During your stay you can enjoy the extensive wellness area. Here you can truly unwind in the swimming pool, the whirlpool, an indoor and outdoor sauna, a steambath and two solarium areas. Hotel guests can make free use of the sauna, the Turkish steambath and swimming pool.

- looks great on website, in reality was very disappointing.
- useful for stopovers as close to motorway and has parking. Pleasant scenery at rear. Swimming pool.
- The rooms were very disappointing compared to rest of the hotel. They were dark and unattractive and, although I understand it is a relatively new hotel, the carpets were already looking shabby and there were stains on the ceiling. There was no air conditioning, no mini bar, no fridge, no tea/coffee making facilities, no bath robes, the door locks were broken so we were unable to lock them from the inside. We phoned reception about the locks and someone came up and said he was aware that the locks were broken but didn't seem very bothered. A hotel so close to major roads should have air conditioning so windows can be kept shut. Also when we opened the windows there were very strong smells of sileage and within seconds the room was full of flies, so we had to close the windows. There were also flies in the restaurant when we had breakfast and whilst some of the food was covered not all of it was. Very off putting. We sat on the balcony to eat breakfast and the cleaners were working around us which was also off putting. When I expressed my disappointment to the reception staff on checking out, the man just said the facilities I mentioned were only available in luxury rooms. I pointed out that the price we paid was a "luxury room" price and I have stayed in other hotels in Holland and Belgium with all those facilities at half the price.

- Sauna was heerlijk en werd ook aangezet toen we het vroegen, terwijl deze eigenlijk dicht zou zijn om deze tijd

- Verrassingsweekend werd een topweekend
- Mooie ruime kamer (deluxe), heel schoon, mooie moderne badkamer met bad en douchecabine. Personeel doet er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Menu is niet heel uitgebreid maar wel erg lekker. Zwembad klein maar voldoet prima, sauna erg mooi en ruim. Massage van Allure was erg lekker, een aanrader! Er zijn veel verschillende zitjes gemaakt, waardoor je gezellig zit. Omgeving is nog in de maak maar je kunt al zien dat het mooi is/wordt, het meer is erg mooi. Lekker gewandeld ondanks de harde wind. We gaan hier zeker nog eens terug, en ik vind het een aanrader voor wie graag een keer een weekendje verwend wil worden!

- We konden al voor 3uur inchecken
- We zaten in een suite op 3 hoog mooie ligging, jammer dat de ramen smerig waren waardoor het mooie uitzicht gestoord werd.Tafels in de kamer waren kleverig. Ontbijt was matig en de lege borden en kommen moesten we opstapelen omdat ze niet weg gehaald werden

- Enkele minpuntjes waarschijnlijk vanwege opstartproblemen.
- Wel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Vooral bij het ontbijt. Een uiterst behulpzame dame die uitleg gaf over de gang van zaken en die ook service hoog in het vaandel had staan t.o.v. rolstoelgebruikers.
- Vliegen bij het ontbijtbuffet en niet alles was afgedekt. Er was geen minibar aanwezig op de tweepersoonskamer terwijl dat wel werd vermeld op de site van hotels.nl.
