Nice hotel in Houten

• + Nice atmosphere, good restaurant
• – Only BBC as English TV channel, missed Discovery.
• * my tip Pavillon of the future was very fun. Nice Asian style buffet restaurant, Laser Game, mini golf and bowling.

• + lovely place as usual. will stay again
• – dig shared the restaraunt on the table behind us during meal. and the meat was severely under cooked

High standard service incl restaurant, excellent for business stay.

• + Friendly treatment at the reception and in the restaurant. Large and convenient room. No complaints at all.
• – Taking into account that breakfast is not included and the fact that the hotel is outside town I think it is rather expensive.

comfortable, stylish and very clean

• + The breakfast was delicious, the building was beautiful inside and well looked after, the service was great too
• – the bed was not a double but two singles together, it would have been better if there was a topper on top hence the minus in comfort.
• * my tip install music in the bathroom, maybe link the TV audio, to be able to enjoy music in the bath

• – Alleen twin bedden, geen dubbele

Nice stay with a view

• + Good cost for value and very good food for dinners. Excelent view from the top floor.
• – Comedy Central is not on TV list. :)

Recommended: the Wellnesssuite and Restaurant Kasteel Houten

• + Marvellous wellnessrooms! Beautifull warm design, and easy to reach
• – No atm for cash withdrawal. The hotel is situated in a business/industrial area.
• * my tip Don't forget to bring cash money if you go to (Michelin-star) Restaurant Kasteel Heemstede (the place to be when you stay in Houten!!)

Comfortable hotel, but location isn't optimal

• + Great room with nice views. Nice whirlpool with separate shower. Comfortable bed.
• – Bathroom wasn't clean. In the evening, there is no bus from Utrecht Central station, although the hotel claims that there is.

Top quality hotel at a reasonable price

• + Excellent food. Pretty well perfect hotel.
• – Room too hot initially

Great launching pad for a one month tour in Europe.

• + Location: easy access from Schiphol to semi-rural area. direct access to safe walking paths. Comfort: good place to work through jet lag (8 time zones) and recover from recent hip surgery.
• – Location: lacks pedestrian access to paths along the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. We could see the boats from our room, but could not reach the canal walkway.
• * my tip The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and satisfied all of our needs. We did not see any other restaurant within walking distance. The city bus connecting Houten Centrum to Utrecht Centrum stops in front of the hotel.

• * my tip Good business hotel with excellent facilities, good restaurant and bar. The rooms are well appointed and beds very comfortable. It's an easy place to stay.

• + Modern, clean lines, well maintained and relaxing place to stay
• – Could do with a simple vending machine or place to buy chocolate/crisp etc for room. Need to work in room but do not need full room service.

• + Very nice Hotel-modern and clean-good restaurant and pleasant staff.-also , just a personal preferrence, love being high in a hotel, truly great panoramamic vista-room was very spacious and bed comfortable.
• – None really!!-although the dogs can get a bit noisy

comfortable spacious friendly hotel in the wrong location

• + friendly ,big open restauraunt,big comfortable clean room,great price,good food ,not michelin star standard or gastro pub standard but good basic cooking,steak etc,lobster thermidor was not thermidor but keep to basics and you cant go wrong
• – location 30-40 euros to get into utrecht by taxi or 15 euros to train station to get into utrecht by train brussell sprouts and chicory as add on vegatables to food were the wrong vegetables in my humble opinion
