Description
Hulshorst is a small village with 1900 inhabitants. Besides many monuments, the surroundings have beautiful stretches of nature, most importantly the largest uninterrupted nature area in The Netherlands: De Veluwe. There are countless cycle tracks and footpaths in the area, but a cultural experience is also at hand. In Apeldoorn you may visit the former royal palace 'Het Loo' and the Kröller-Müller Museum is located in the midst of 'De Hoge Veluwe.' This nature park is comprised of 5.500 hectares of woods, grasslands, heaths, and shifting-sands and has a varied population of animals. Deer, moufflons, and wild boars characterize the fauna of the versatile landscape.
Apollo Hotel De Beyaerd offers a large number of excellent facilities in beautiful surroundings. Guests can use the swimming pool, the tenniscourts, and the fitness facilities for free. An extensive breakfast buffet is set up between 07:30 and 10:00 h. on weekdays and between 08:00 and 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The warm atmosphere of the sunroom invites guests to have a drink or light meal and the bar and restaurant also provide a culinary experience in a casual atmosphere.
The Hooibergbar and the Martinibar are a great setting for a good conversation and a lively atmosphere. In restaurant 'De Deel,' guests can also enjoy a good lunch and savoury 3- and 4-course dinners.
