Hollandsche Manege in Amsterdam
The Hollandsche Manege (Dutch Horse Riding School) was founded in 1882 and is the oldest riding school in the Netherlands.
It was designed in a Renaissance style by the architect A.L. Van Gendt, also known for designing the Concertgebouw, Centraal Station and Stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam.
The Hollandsche Manege is now a listed building, because of its historical importance.
You can still take horse riding classes at this beautiful riding track and it is also possible for the little ones to ride a pony.
