Museums in Amsterdam
The Dutch capital houses some renowned museums, such as the Van Goghmuseum and the Rijksmuseum. It is no surprise then, that hundreds of thousands of visitors flock to these museums every year.
Each museum has its own theme, ranging from the Dutch old masters to modern art to arts and crafts. Besides the museums, Amsterdam also houses hundreds of galleries and exhibition halls, where you can often visit remarkable exhibitions. Some renowned exhibition venues are the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) and the Beurs van Berlage.
