Clubs in Amsterdam

Dancing until dawn. That is what you can do in one of these clubs. Every club offers a different style of music, ranging from techno house and club house to funk and eighties music. Apart from the standard parties, some clubs also offer theme parties on special locations. Although the Leidseplein and Rembrandplein are the centre of Amsterdam's nightlife, most clubs are located around the city.

If you want to know where the action is, make sure you get a copy of a party calendar at a music or fashion store. Some bouncers can be very strict in upholding the dresscode, so be sure to bring your ID and wear your best party gear.

Hotel Arena
This hotel is located in a monumental building, just outside the city centre of Amsterdam. It consists of a few different sections: the hotel 'Tostay', the restaurant 'Todine', the club 'Tonight' and the café 'Todrink'.
Start your night out with a delicious dinner and a drink in the café, which will put you in the right party mood. As time flies by, more party people arrive to make their way into 'Tonight'. The music in this club varies from 'eighties' to salsa. Hotel Arena is the perfect spot for a complete night of entertainment. Culture Park Westergasfabriek
Events and parties are often organised in some of the multifunctional buildings located on the site of the Westergasfabriek (Western Gas Factory). Several shops and offices can also be found here. You can go to the bakery for a delicious breakfast or drink an excellent cup of coffee in the Espresso Factory. The Westerpark surrounds the premises.

The Westergasfabriek is known for its parties such as Awakenings and the RAW Rythm Festival. The industrial buildings provide a unique atmosphere.

The program in these industrial buildings is very diverse. Some nights there is a techno house party in de Gashouder (one of the buildings), the next night a romantic movie in het Ketelhuis (another old factory building) and during the day one can visit an art exposition. In the evenings there are parties and live music in the Flex Bar or in restaurant/club Pacific Parc.

This classical building has been modernised beautifully. It contains a restaurant, pub, café and concert hall. In the evening the concert hall is used as a club where DJ's perform.
