Cathedral of St. Michael Brussels
At the end of a city tour you can pay a visit to the Cathedral of St. Michael, which is located in the old centre of Brussels. The façade of this 13th century gothic building is characterised by two stump towers. Inside the cathedral visitors can admire many beautiful features, such as the 16 stained glass windows, a wooden pulpit in baroque style, memorial stones and a large organ.
Marriages of the princes Albert, Leopold, Filip and Laurent took place in the cathedral, but it was also used for several funerals, such as the funerals of King Albert I and King Boudewijn.
