Ostend
Ostend is nicknamed the City by the Sea. The Casino Kursaal is situated on the seafront, which in recent years has been transformed into a stylish promenade where you can stroll along the sea. Around the square Vissersplein are outdoor cafes where you can relax with a drink and on the 'Visserskaai' are many nice seafood restaurants and seafood stalls.

Those interested in history can visit the Fort Napoleon and the war museum Atlantic Wall. Art lovers can visit the James Ensor House, the Art Museum by the Sea 'Mu.ZEE' and the Venetian Galleries. For children, the North Sea Aquarium is fun. In Leopold Park, is the famous flower clock with a diameter of 9 meters.
