Fishermen's Quay Ostend
Aside from the 'Vistrap' (fish trap), you will find plenty of seafood restaurants and seafood stalls on the Visserskaai (Fishermen's Quay). The Vistrap is the open-air fish market where you can buy great fresh fish from 7.00 in the morning. The market is open daily until 18.00 hours. A real specialty of Ostend is 'wulloks', which are hot escargots. You definitely have to try them when you visit the market.
