Dutch Open Air Museum Arnhem
The Dutch Open Air Museum is a national museum about the daily life of ordinary people. The past is brought to life in this museum. There are several attractions on the museum's grounds such as the Castle's farm, De Hanekamp Inn, and HollandRama, an ingenious combination of technique and nostalgia. Unusual encounters, aroma's, images and stories will stir unforgettable memories and evoke daily life from the past.
There are all sorts of things to experience in the museum park, both for young and old. You can play with old fashioned toys on the square in the Zaanse quarter. Cross the pond with the aid of a cable ferry and enjoy the tasty poffertjes (tiny Dutch pancakes) at the cosy and traditional poffertjes stall.
