Rememberance Centre Kamp Westerbork
In the middle of Drenthe lies a place with a dreadful history. The lives of hundreds of thousands of Dutch Jews were taken during WWII. The site of this former camp is now a place of commemoration, with a museum and monument as well as a reconstruction of the former concentration camp.
