The Hague Municipal Museum
The Hague Municipal Museum (Gemeentemuseum Den Haag) is world renowned for its collection of paintings and drawings by Piet Mondriaan. An entire department is permanently dedicated to this famous 20th century painter. The museum has also installed a fixed wing in order to feature the classical landscapes of the Haagse School.
On the ground floor are treasure chambers featuring masterpieces from the permanent collection, among which are works of Picasso, Kandinsky, Toorop, Willink and Appel. The Municipal Museum also continually organises rotating exhibitions exploring fashion.
