Ouwehands Dierenpark Rhenen
The Zoo 'Ouwehands Dierenpark', on top of the hill 'Grebbeberg' in Rhenen, enables a unique encounter with the animals. For instance, you can 'nose' with the polar bears, walk through the bear woods and enjoy the beautifully marked and impressive white tigres from only a 2 metres distance. If you want to take it higher up, have a look in the orang utan's quarters 'Apes on stilts'. They swing about 15 metres above the ground with great dexterity, right over the heads of the visitors. Also a visit to the sea lions show is a must.
