Dotato di una bella facciata risalente al 1916, questo ex edificio scolastico è stato trasformato in un moderno hotel a 4 stelle con tutti i comfort possibili. La navetta vi condurrà all’aeroporto in 10 minuti, e il centro conferenze RAI è raggiungibile in 20 minuti. Aalsmeer ospita la più grande asta floreale del mondo e ogni anno attrae numerosi turisti. Il Giardino Storico merita decisamente una visita, con mostre sul giardinaggio di Aalsmeer a partire dal XVII secolo. Chi ama gli sport acquatici troverà nel Westeinderplassen una splendida area ricreativa, che si estende su oltre 10 chilometri quadrati. Chi preferisce la natura sicuramente apprezzerà le belle collezioni di pesci, uccelli e piante che si trovano tutt’intorno.

Tutte le camere sono dotate di doccia e toilette, televisione e canali per film, asciugacapelli, telefono, connessione wireless a Internet, macchinetta per tè e caffè e minibar. Although we had paid for breakfast with our booking, the receptionist initially insisted that this was not possible. Only after I showed her the confirmation did she accede. Attitude was questionable. 2. To call this hotel an "airport hotel" is a bit of a stretch. It is a pretty long ride to the airport. Anonimo Gezellig Hotel: 5 Dicembre 2011; 6.8; + Gezellige ligging. Achter het hotel ligt een overdekt strand!! Dichtbij Schiphol.; - Gehorig. Het personeel slaat met deuren beneden in het restaurant en is op de eerste verdieping te horen. Bij de receptie deden ze voorkomen hier nog nooit klachten over te hebben gehad. We kregen wel een andere kamer.

A unique hotel that will register when i think of Holland, not another "concrete box" that leave you feeling that you are "anywhere but home"; - no room service and resturant not able to charge meals to the room.

Anonimo Practical: 27 Settembre 2011; 7.6; + Rooms are good and clean; - I had the greatest trouble using the internet for mail. The internet works well, but an overzealous IT person has shut down all firewalls. I use mail services outside internet, and am used to making a VPN backdoor, but even this didn't work, which is a level of security no hotel ever needs. It's more for a military base. So, please loosen up on the locking of services.

David Leffmann Stay Here!: 19 Settembre 2011; 8.8; + This is a lovely hotel! The staff is gracious, especially the bar manager who was fun, engaging and took pity on the fact that we had not had any dinner! They offer a fantastic breakfast (Not included in the price of your stay but worth it!) We arrived late and had booked the wrong room (twin beds instead of double) and they changed it right away, no problem. Shuttle is handy and on time. Very wonderful!; - The hotel is 18 km from Amsterdam, tucked into a lovely little village, where there is no late night "scene", including dinner past 10:00, when we arrived. The shuttle is available 24-7 though, so you can take that in to the Airport and train or bus it to Amsterdam. The shuttle location at the airport to the hotel was a bit confusing. It would help if the location of the shuttle was given in the email confirmation. It is free once, then after that $16 euros.

I know they must have it written in the small print somewhere, but that's strange not include even the return trip. Breakfast was ok at best, yet not included. During my stay I heard a major argument with another customer who was upset about lack of airconditioning and wifi. The response of the hotel managers to everything seemed to be, "that's just the way it is, don't like it, go somewhere else"

Anonimo Nice food shame about the heating!: 30 Novembre 2010; 4.2; + Beautiful restaurant, had a lovely meal, bar staff very attentive.; - Room was so cold we had to keep coats on for a while, was -3 outside. The air temp in our room was 16! Apparently they forgot to put heat on in our room. We asked to move room and was told hotel was full. We were then given a extra duvet and sheet, which we had to put on ourselves and the staff did not seem to care. Was so cold next morning, even the carpet was cold it felt uncomfortable to walk on. we had to put towels on the bathroom floor to take the chill out of the cold tiles! I have stayed in alot of hotels worldwide but have never encountered this type of room temp before.
