Il BackStage Hotel Amsterdam si trova vicino al 'Melkweg' e al 'Paradiso', due palchi spesso inclusi nei tour delle band musicali. Di notte i bei bar e club della 'Leidseplein' attirano sempre moltissima gente. Durante il giorno potete scegliere tra un'ampia gamma di attività nei dintorni dell'hotel. Il 'Vondelpark', ad esempio, è perfetto per una passeggiata. Chi ama lo shopping può andare nella Leidsestraat e nella Kalverstraat o nelle boutique della zona denominata '9 straatjes'.

Anonimo Prima hotel in hartje Amsterdam: 14 Settembre 2011; 8.6; + Schoon hotel met hele prettige kamers. Vriendelijk ontvangst!! Wij sliepen op de vierde verdieping. Jammer genoeg is er geen lift dus vier trappen op. M<aar is geen probleem. Goed Hotel voor een acceptabele prijs! Volgende keer doen we het weer.

Für den Preis nur eine Dusche für ein Stockwerk ist eine Zumutung.

Lizzy Playford The Backstage Hotel - Cool, Relaxing, Cheap and Friendly!! :): 9 Febbraio 2011; 9.2; + Great stay at this Hotel. Very Friendly staff and a good budget price. Very close to a buzzing square with many food, coffeeshops and pubs. Lots of Live music and shows around this area. Short 15/20 minute walk to red light district and central amsterdam, down beautiful alleys and streets and the tram runs from the square if you dont want to walk. I will stay again when i return - plus its cool that everything is made from musical instruments - our light was a drum and our bed made of guitar cases - so cool!! :); - The only minus points i can think of are the noise of the hoover at 9.30am every morning waking us up as they hoover and clean the hallway outside and other rooms, and that my shower gel and washing stuff went missing when i left it in the shower, but i guess i should have kept it in my room. Apart from these two very minor gripes it is a lovely, relaxing hotel.

You feel that this hotel was created out of passion and the staff seems passionate about it. Funny location - also for "non-rockers"..; - Well ... empty cans under the bed, a bit of dust, but nothing too bad. And like many places in Amsterdam extremely steep staircases - so if you have a lot of luggage it is an adventure to climb them. (Was glad when I checked out without a broken ankle). The coffee at breakfast was quite bad...
