+ Not much to look at from the outside, but beautifully appointed inside. Location is convenient to many sites, and front desk staff is extremely helpful.

+ Great location. Shops and the Dam and many other sights and places within walking distance, e.g., Anne Frank House. Tram stop in front of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. No charge for use of computers a real plus (unlike other hotels). Very comfortable bed.

- You need rubber mats in bathtub for people who shower rather than bathe. The bottom of the tub is just too slippery.

+ Very good Location within walking distance to all main attractions. Beautiful hotel and the room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and was very clean. The hotel bar was very nice and the staff really friendly and helpful. Great weekend and would definately recommend anyone to stay at Convent Hotel for a wonderful break!!

- Mini bar prices were over priced and the hotel bar drinks were alot more expensive than everywhere else we visited.

+ Great location for couples that want peace and quiet at night, but still very close to everything. Nice complementaries in the bathroom. Clean.

- Nothing really.. Room service took 40 minutes, not the promised 25. But it was late, and the food was pretty good.

+ Excellent location with walking distance to most interesting places to visit and a lot of restaurants near by. Very clean and well appointed room. Quiet as long as next door room wasn't occupied. Inside door between two rooms allows all the noise of midnight TV watching to be quite annoying. Hotel serves pricy but very good breakfast with an excellent service.

- We asked for a quiet room so thats what we've got - backing into tiny court yard so dark you couldn't see what's the weather outside. The room quite dim; with all lights on - impossible to read.

+ The very central location is excellent for exploring the historic city center. The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished.

- The hotel is centrally located ┠we were awakened in the middle of the night by what sounded like a large group of tourists who must have had quite a fun evening.

+ Hotel's situation in the town is good and service was very friendly and helpful. Sauna was very good.

- There was not any view from the window of the hotel room. Opposite was a wall of the next building. Buffet breakfest was very expensive and it didn't include any vegetables.

+ Very friendly staff at front office (also via telephone). Good and friendly cleaning service who cleans the room. Room with 3 beds very comfortable. Very convenient that the windows could be open for fresh air.

- Sometimes drain in bath rooms (wash-hand basin) has bad smell

+ Near city centre, clean and efficient, generally friendly staff. Comfortable king size bed.

- Fairly cramped room for a 4 star. Street side rooms get noise late and early (6 am +) from trams, reversing trucks and a few late night revellers. Charges for wireless internet access. Overcharged a couple of times - but fixed when pointed out.

- Asked for quiet room (light sleepers) - given noisy one (street and neighbouring balconies noise, 2 rooms for cleaning staff outside door) Asked for balloons etc in room on arrival for wife's birthday - assured it would be done - record showed on computer - it wasn't done.

+ Good location, friendly staff, quaint reception. Comfy beds with large feather pillows.

- Some rooms very small, had to move as I couldn't even sit at desk. Internet an outrageous 22 Euros per day, and cable in room didn't work. Reception then tried to sell me wifi at 24 Euros! Cheaper to buy T-Mobile at 19.95. Breakfast also expensive at 22 Euros extra. Use the cafe next door...

+ Nogmaals onze dank aan de receptie en zeker aan Rob en de dame met de vlechtjes. Zeer vriendelijk en geduldig en informatief! Ze maken een groot deel van je verblijf uit en hier is dat voor 100 % gelukt!

- Niets negatiefs.
