- The landlord Fred, the food, the restaurant, easy access to the motorway-system and yet again the landlord Fred and his wife's cultural mixed cusine - I'll ad some Danish comments: Det her er stedet hvis værelsescomforten kommer i 2 række. Her er hyggeligt, rent, billigt og de kan lave mad. Værten Fred er hele opholdet værd

- Werkelijk een schitterende omgeving. Heel bijzonder om eens te slapen in een oud klooster. Heerlijk stil!

- Het hotelpersoneel is zeer vriendelijk. Het restaurant is mooi. Hotel is schitterend gelegen in de mooiste streek van Nederland. Je kunt er prachtig wandelen in de omgeving. Ook plaatsen als Epen, Valkenburg en Maastricht zijn snel te bereiken.
- Het hotel (d.w.z. de kamer waar wij vertoefden) is zeer gehorig, de houten vloer en de bedden kraakten en de enige luxe die er aanwezig was was een TV. De badkamer en -interieur was uit het jaar nul, er waren niet voldoende handdoekenhaakjes, de douchekop was kapot, de WC was nauwelijks te betreden qua ruimte en tijdens het douchen hing er steeds een douchegordijn (bestaan ze nog ?) tegen je aan. Het ontbijt was zeer karig. In het dorp Vijlen is niet veel vertier.

- schoon, veiligheid in orde, ontbijt was prima in orde. Aardige mensen.
- ontzettend niet meer van deze tijd. Bedden waren slecht, zakten door, te zacht. Slapen onder dekens niet meer van deze tijd.

- Het is een schoon hotel, de bedden hebben goede matrassen
- Inrichting en materialen is erg oubollig. Er worden nog dekens en lakens gebruikt. De kamers zijn erg hokkerig en ingericht met oma's spullen.
