Description
Wellness Citytrip offers a deluxe private holiday home, provided with much comfort, such as a living room with television and dvd player, a dining area with open kitchen, which is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. On the first floor you will find the wellness area with infrared cubicle, a steam bath and a double whirlpool. This floor also leads to the cosy, private roof terrace. On the secund floor is a snug and romantic double room.
The Wellness City Trip is located in the historical heart of the city Courtrai (Kortrijk in Dutch). Many monuments and buildings are on the UNESCO World Heritage List, such as the Belfry. This tower is on the square Grote Markt and used to serve as watchtower for spotting fires in the city. Aside from special architecture, there are many museums to visit in the centre of Courtrai, at the foot of the church Sint Maartenskerk and within a stone's throw from the Grote Markt with the city hall and the Belfort.
In the cultural city of Courtrai much was destroyed during the war, but the historical centre was well-preserved. The city has many monuments and buildings, mills and statues. The Grote Markt is the main square of Courtrai. It's a fuse of various squares, which used to be called Pottenmarkt, Eiermarkt, Zuivelmarkt, Kledermarkt en Fruitmarkt.
Courtrai (or Kortrijk) is one of the oldest cities in Belgium. This city on the banks of the river Leie has a medieval centre where the shopping is good. Here are also a number of Courtrai's main sights, such as the belfort and the beguinage. The central square of Courtrai is Grote Markt with its gothical city hall Stadhuis. In the lovely parks and gardens in and around the city you can truly relax. The Astridpark is fun for children and the Rose Garden and the King Albert park are great for walking.

- There is no 24-hour reception. Guests can check-in until 18:30 h. In case you would like to check-in after 18:30 h., you need to contact Wellness Citytrip Kortrijk in advance.
- Wellness Citytrip Kortrijk does not accept credit card payments.
- A maximum of two extra adults can stay on request in the holiday cottage. The extra costs are €25 per person per night.
- There are no special rooms for guest with a disability available.

Courtrai is in the area Leiestreek Within 30 car minutes from Wellness Citytrip Kortrijk are the French city Lille and the historical cities of Bruges, Ieper and Ghent. Around Kortrijk are a number of gardens and parks. Those who love museums can visit the flax museum of Kortrijk 1302, dedicated to the history of the city. In the nearby town Wevelgem is the aviation museum, which offers an interesting survey of aviation history.
