Golden Tulip Strandhotel Westduin in Koudekerke has a magnificent location in the dunes on the edge of beautiful woods, but the city centre of Vlissingen is also just 6 kilometres away. The hotel offers many facilities, such as an indoor swimming pool and sauna, to guarantee its guests a pleasant stay.
Golden Tulip Strandhotel Westduin is situated only 50 metres from the beach in quiet and woody surroundings with many recreational possibilities. Picturesque villages and monumental towns can be found within biking distance. The hotel has lots of facilities to ensure a relaxing stay. There is a heated indoor swimming pool, solarium, sauna and fitness room that guests may use for free. In addition, there is a games room, restaurant and atmospheric garden where barbecues are organized regularly in summer time.
The rooms are fitted out with all modern facilities that guarantee a pleasant stay. They are all provided with a bathroom, separate toilet, hair dryer, television, telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, small fridge, safe and access to wireless Internet. Furthermore, they have a private terrace or small balcony. The First Class and Deluxe rooms are more spacious and offer amenities such as an extra long bed or double washbasin.
Food and Drinks
The breakfast buffet is set up on Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 h., on Saturday from 08:00 to 10:00 h. and on Sunday from 08:00 to 10:30 h.
Guests can enjoy a savoury lunch or dinner in the restaurant. In addition to the à la carte menu, a special dish is served every season. The terrace in the garden is a perfect place to organize barbecues in summertime.
Bar 'Six Degrees' is a good place to relax with a drink and a guests can go to the lounge for a light lunch.

Excellent position right on the beach...nice walk into town along the beach.

- Ideale locatie, pal achter de duinen van een prachtige kust.
Goede service, vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekend, uitgebreid ontbijt. Bar is prma; Lounge smaakvol ingericht. Zwembad is niet groot, maar voor ons een pré. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor strandwandelingen naar Vlissingen en Zoutelande.
- Kamers zijn comfortabel, maar aan de kleine kant. Geen probleem voor 1 à 2 overnachtingen, maar mogelijk wel een probleem bij een verblijf van een week of langer.

- Weer intens genoten van Westduin. We hadden een schitterende kamer: nummer 81; smaakvol ingericht en op elkaar afgestemd.
Ontbijt prima, verrukkelijk diner en plezierig personeel. Fantastische locatie als je van wandelen houdt in de duinen en langs het strand. Voor ons voor herhaling vatbaar om even een paar dagen er helmaal uit te zijn.

- Een paar dagen Westduin
- Een perfecte ligging, nabij het strand en natuurlijk ook steden als Goes, Vlissingen en Middelburg. Vriendelijk personeel, vooral de jongedame (stagiaire) die 's avonds in de lounge ons hielp. Een voorbeeld voor veel, andere en vooral oudere collega's !! Niet alleen in uw hotel, maar met name in andere horeca-gelegenheden.
- Toch wel de niet altijd frisse badkamer (ontzettend veel haren in de draaideur van de douchebak) en ook tijdens het ontbijt (overigens perfect verzorgd) werd een op de grond gevallen mes in het serviesbak gedaan en ook weer op een tafel neergelegd. Dit door een niet geheel fris uitziende dame.
