Hotel SnowWorld is situated next to the largest indoor ski center in the world. The hotel lies between Heerlen and Kerkrade, at about 15 kilometres from Maastricht and 10 kilometres from Aachen (Germany). Surroundings
Hotel SnowWorld lies on the edge of the nature reserve Strijthagen. The hilly landscape of southern Limburg makes Hotel SnowWorld a perfect starting point for day trips in the surrounding area. How about a biking or hiking tour or a game of golf? Picturesque villages such as Wittem, Eys and Gulpen are closeby, as well the larger towns of Maastricht, Valkenburg and Aachen.
Food and Drinks
A day in the snow requires a good breakfast. In the hotel you can enjoy the breakfast buffet between 07:00 and 10:00 h.
In self-service restaurant Wilhelminaplatz you can daily enjoy sandwiches, a cup of soup or a nice meal.
For a delicious three, four or five course dinner you can visit the à la carte restaurant Matterhorn. Besides the extensive menu the restaurant offers several high-quality wines. Reservations are recommended.
If you would like to enjoy some proper winter food, then visit Chalet Wallis. Here you can order a cheese, meat or fish fondue with friends, collegues or relatives.
In the trendy bar Swiss Friends the staff serve drinks and small snacks. The bar offers a view of the only official indoor FIS-Rennstrecke in the world.
The Alphornbar is the perfect location for a fun night out in a proper après-ski atmosphere.

As with most hotels in Netherlands no in room tea / coffee facilities, would have expected to have in room at this standard.
Key cards disabled at 11am resulting in lots of people unable to access hotel after putting luggage in cars without walking round building to front entrance to check out
*my tipFondue ski packages seem good value, ski after 6pm with 4 hr pass.
