The location is just perfect, close to the train station and the city center. Some nice restaurants around. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is charming and the rooms are spacious and clean.

Breakfast mediocre. Very warm initially-no fan or A/C. Bathtub too small. No microwave.

No reception, only bedrooms, trouble with booking, 2 eggs for 4 persons at breakfast.
we found the hotel made us feel at home becausr it was cosy and clean,
my two lady friends and i enjoyed our time at the marienpoel,comfy home for family situations.so easy to get about with train access and busses and close to food shops .a well equipped kitchen for short stays.i would recomend this hotel to friends.
