Surroundings
It only takes a short stroll from Hotel Marienpoel Leiden to reach the city centre, central train station or university. The city has a history that dates back to the year 860. The old castle of Leiden still remains a silent witness of this era. The charming inner city is characterized by historic buildings and canals. The 'Rijksmuseum voor Volkenkunde' (ethnology) and the garden 'Hortus Botanicus' are just some of Leiden's interesting attractions.

we found the hotel made us feel at home becausr it was cosy and clean,

my two lady friends and i enjoyed our time at the marienpoel,comfy home for family situations.so easy to get about with train access and busses and close to food shops .a well equipped kitchen for short stays.i would recomend this hotel to friends.
