simple, nice, quiet, relaxing

Great historic location. Simple but comfortable accommodation - if room had AC it would be 10/10, but in warm weather it was a bit hot.
–
No restaurant. Breakfast simple.
*my tipDon't go to near restaurant Dijkhuisje. VERY expensive - owners have illusions of grandness.

each day a new towel and for a little extra a great breakfast.
–
beds are a little soft.
*my tipIf you are looking for a nice quiet weekend this is a place to go. Long walks and pleasant view, As for some good restaurants in the vicinity or a lively bar not so much luck however you only need to jump into a car and go across the dyke to Enkhuisen for a bit more life.

The only small minus point is that we had to wait for the receptionist to arrive. There is not someone permanently in the hotel.
