Right in the middle of the flower bulb region lies Hotel de Duif Lisse. During the season the flowering crocuses, narcissus and tulips create a beautiful backdrop. From the hotel one can make nice day trips to such places as Amsterdam, The Hague (Den Haag) and Scheveningen.
The hotel rooms are equipped with a shower, toilet and a television. The suites also offer a kitchen. For business meetings the hotel offers two meeting rooms. The friendly staff can supply guests with information about the surroundings.

A pleasant hotel in a convenient location
+
Friendly and helpful reception staff, good location.
–
Parking was a bit limited.
Not a minus -just a suggestion: Would like to see some directions to Schiphol infor ]available -such as a map print out. (Road construction and "Leitung" meant the GPS was confused.
*my tipHotel de Duif is in Lisse, a small, pleasant town in a good location for its proximity to Schiphol Airport, and to attactions like Keukenhof. Restaurants and shopping are just around the corner.

It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful area.
–
It was difficult to find as the address is not the entrance. The rooms are very small. We had to carry our own suitcases up the stairs.

Pleasant hotel for guests with no mobility concerns
+
Clean room, good breakfast, pleasant staff
*my tipBe aware there is no elevator and the hotel is not easy to find. Parking was very close, but you cannot stop car in front of door--not a good choice for someone with mobility problems.

It was Queens Day and there was lots of partying in streets that we could hear rather loudly. Would be great if one desired to join in, but we were tired and wanted to sleep.

+
Great location to visit Keukenhof gardens. Free onstreet parking available.

The cost is a bit high, for the size of the room. Our son had to sleep with us because the room was too small for a crib.

it was so close to keukenoff, just a 10 minute walk. close to many shops and great restaurants. the staff was wonderful! the bed was very comfortable and the baby crib was larger than most american cribs. a restaurant is attached to the hotel that made it great not to have to go out in the rain. and the continental breakfast is wonderful. wpuld stay again.
–
the shower was not closed off and left a lot of water on the floor. the room was quite small but not a problem. the TV was broken and didn't get fixed after notifying the staff. not in the room enough to make a difference.

Inexpensive compared to other hotels in area.
Good position in town cener. Free parking area around. Friendly personnel at the reception.
–
Very small room with strange bathroom without tub or shower area. The water is pouring directly on floor tiles. Does not deserve three stars.

We stayed twice:
The bathroom in the updated room for 2 was small but neat. No bathroom floor-mat was provided, which would be very good for the small space.
The bathroom shower in the upstairs room for 3, was unacceptable. The way the floor was built, the water did not drain away well and there was water all around the sink and toilet after taking a shower.
