Description

Hotel de Duif is located in the centre of Lisse, within walking distance of the 'Keukenhof' spring garden. It is an excellent starting point for nice day trips, such as a beach walk. In the hotel guests can enjoy the bar and the lounge, which is adjacent to the patio garden.

Right in the middle of the flower bulb region lies Hotel de Duif Lisse. During the season the flowering crocuses, narcissus and tulips create a beautiful backdrop. From the hotel one can make nice day trips to such places as Amsterdam, The Hague (Den Haag) and Scheveningen.

The hotel rooms are equipped with a shower, toilet and a television. The suites also offer a kitchen. For business meetings the hotel offers two meeting rooms. The friendly staff can supply guests with information about the surroundings.

Food and Drinks

In the hotel the breakfast is served between 07:00 and 10:00 h. on Monday through Friday and from 08:00 to 10:00 h. during the weekend. One can also order a packed lunch.
The lounge is located next to the patio garden and is therefore a nice place to sit. The hotel also has a bar, which is open from 13:00 to 23:30 h.
Guests often have dinner in 'Drank- en Eetlokaal Op Visite' which is connected to the hotel, but has a different owner. Here one can choose from four different menus with a starter, main course and dessert. Besides meat and fish dishes there are also vegetarian options. The kitchen is open from 17:00 to 21:30 h. and on Saturday from 11:00 h. Within walking distance there are about 15 other restaurants as well.

Internet

Wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel at an additional charge. In the lounge guests can use the hotel's laptop at an additional charge. This laptop is available between 07:00 and 24:00 h.

The bird park 'Avifauna' in Alphen aan den Rijn and the 'Rijksmuseum van Oudheden' (antiquities) in Leiden can also be visited.

De badkamer is veel te klein, en dan nog een douche achter een gordijntje, zonder douchbak. € 85,-- is erg goed betaald.
