A pleasant hotel in a convenient location
  • + Friendly and helpful reception staff, good location.
  • Parking was a bit limited. Not a minus -just a suggestion: Would like to see some directions to Schiphol infor ]available -such as a map print out. (Road construction and "Leitung" meant the GPS was confused.
  • * my tip Hotel de Duif is in Lisse, a small, pleasant town in a good location for its proximity to Schiphol Airport, and to attactions like Keukenhof. Restaurants and shopping are just around the corner.
  • (Other)
  • + It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful area.
  • It was difficult to find as the address is not the entrance. The rooms are very small. We had to carry our own suitcases up the stairs.

Pleasant hotel for guests with no mobility concerns
  • + Clean room, good breakfast, pleasant staff
  • * my tip Be aware there is no elevator and the hotel is not easy to find. Parking was very close, but you cannot stop car in front of door--not a good choice for someone with mobility problems.

Great location if visiting the keukenhof.

  • (Older couples)
A good place to rest and recuperate after a day in the Keukenhof.

  • The bathroom was looking a little tired now
  • (Older couples)
Small standard rooms which were priced to high
  • + very close to Keukenhof during the bulb season
  • standard room(s) rather small Breakfast could have been better, no attention to detail i.e. no butter for two days running? evening drinks from the bar obtained with effort!
  • (Older couples)

  • + Great location to both the Keukenhof and to a lovely pedestrian strret.. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great interior design of public spaces. Delicious and extensive breakfast included.Suite 2-story desihn was good for down time and privacy and had nice decor.
  • It was Queens Day and there was lots of partying in streets that we could hear rather loudly. Would be great if one desired to join in, but we were tired and wanted to sleep.
  • (Older couples)
Dissapointing and overpriced hotel close to Keukenhof
  • + Great location to visit Keukenhof gardens. Free onstreet parking available.
  • Bathroom awful. Shower was a corner of bathroom floor with a curtain. Room small. Electrical points in bedroom unsafe. Walls in bedroom heavily marked with some dried liquid.Overpriced for standard of hotel.
  • (Families with young children)
Great location, friendly staff
  • + The employees were very helpful and friendly.
  • The cost is a bit high, for the size of the room. Our son had to sleep with us because the room was too small for a crib.
  • (Other)

  • Modest Shower
  • (Travelling alone)
  • + Fabulous design and a fantastic room - different in a charming way
  • The walls between the rooms were too thin - we were very disturbed by our next door neighbours.
  • (Families with young children)
  • + it was so close to keukenoff, just a 10 minute walk. close to many shops and great restaurants. the staff was wonderful! the bed was very comfortable and the baby crib was larger than most american cribs. a restaurant is attached to the hotel that made it great not to have to go out in the rain. and the continental breakfast is wonderful. wpuld stay again.
  • the shower was not closed off and left a lot of water on the floor. the room was quite small but not a problem. the TV was broken and didn't get fixed after notifying the staff. not in the room enough to make a difference.
  • (Young couples)
  • + Inexpensive compared to other hotels in area. Good position in town cener. Free parking area around. Friendly personnel at the reception.
  • Very small room with strange bathroom without tub or shower area. The water is pouring directly on floor tiles. Does not deserve three stars.
  • (Older couples)
  • + Good location and fair price.
  • We stayed twice: The bathroom in the updated room for 2 was small but neat. No bathroom floor-mat was provided, which would be very good for the small space. The bathroom shower in the upstairs room for 3, was unacceptable. The way the floor was built, the water did not drain away well and there was water all around the sink and toilet after taking a shower.
  • (Older couples)
  • + convenient location ie bus stop across the street; bicycle rental arranged; very friendly and helpful staff.
  • no lift (elevator)
  • (Older couples)
  • + The breakfast was good and the lady at the front desk was very helpful with directions and suggestions for a place to have dinner.
  • Since our room was upstairs it would have been better had there been a lift to take our luggage up...or at least someone to help carry it upstairs.
  • (Families with older children)
  • + Nice staff, and perfect central location.
  • Hotel probably not renovated since the 70's, the comfort and quality thereafter! Bed too soft, resulted in severe back-pain, the bathroom really bad with showering wetting the whole floor! No computer in the hotel.
  • (Families with young children)
  • + Ideal location for the Keukenhof, less than 5 mins by car. Reception and breakfeast area very nice, pleasant and airy. Breakfeast good and hotel staff friendly
  • Standar room, clean but pretty basic and a bit tired.
  • (Older couples)
  • + All staff and especially the receiption staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Local information was readily provided with a smile. A taxi was arranged with ease. The breakfast selection was very good and always quickly replenished. We would visit again and recommend to others wishing to visit the area.
  • (Young couples)
  • Shower: When taking a shower the whole bathroom including the toilet is under water. No signs or indication in Lisse in the streets to find the hotel.
  • (Older couples)
  • + Very friendly staff, good location.
  • Hardly any.
