Surroundings
Liege is referred to as the 'Burning City', due to its steal and weapon industry. Nowadays Liege is also known for its art. You can for instance visit the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, which displays paintings and statues from the 19th century, among other things. The city also houses a Glas Museum and Weapon Museum.

Would be good if staff had access/knew opening/closing times for sights. We asked especially if themuseum was open on that day and were told yes. When we walked all the way there it was closed (as always) on a monday
