Other interesting museums are the Museum De Historische Drukkerij, Centre Céramique, the architecture museum NaiM, the Schatkamer of the Basilica of Saint Servaas and the Bonnenfantenmuseum, which is housed in a magnificent building designed by Italian architect Aldo Rossi.
The caves of the hill Sint Pietersberg, with its more than 20.000 tunnels, caused by the winning of marl, are definitely worth a visit. During the Secund World war they served as a hiding-place for Maastricht inhabitants.
