Description
The design of the interior was created by the internationally renowned interior designer Henk Vos and the world famous light artist Ingo Maurer. They have made a connection between old and design elements. The contrasts between the old and modern architecture are still visible.
The contemporary and comfortable rooms in the Kruisherenhotel each have a unique atmosphere. The hotel rooms are divided over the former buildings of the monastery, the gatekeeper's house and the modern Casa Nova. In the rooms you will find a flatscreen television, safe, air conditioning and a minibar, among other things.
For a savoury lunch or dinner you can visit the restaurant. Or taste one of the good wines from the glass wine cellar. The terrace of the hotel is located at the Kommelplein square. In the former church you will now find the reception, lobby, three modern boardrooms, a library and a glass elevator. The boardrooms are suitable for 4 up to 20 persons.
Food and Drinks
In the nave of the church you can enjoy an extensive breakfast on the mezzanine. On week days breakfast is available from 06:30 until 10:00 h. and on the weekend from 08:00 until 10:30 h.
On the mezzanine the staff also serve lunch and dinner. While you enjoy the culinary surprises you can admire the view of the beautiful wall and ceiling paintings and the stained glass windows.
In the former side chapels of the church there are now three lounge corners. The choir nowadays houses the Winebar Rouge & Blanc, which has an impressive, glass wine cellar above the ground. Take a seat on one of the red benches with a good glass of wine, or a cup of coffee or tea with a piece of pie, the regional speciality.
