Perfect Maastricht Location
  • + Great location in the heart of Maastricht. Perfect for our visit to attend Andre Rieu. Price was amazingly good. Receptionist greeted us really lovely and helpful.
  • None, with the exception of when having drink in the hotel bar there was one quite rude waiter. The others were fine.
  • * my tip I am guessing request a higher room if you are sensitive to a little bar noise. Bar was very busy. We were on third floor and quite quiet.
  • (Older couples)
Bon rapport qualité prix
  • + Bon accueil, très bon petit-déjeuner, hôtel bien situé, propre et calme
  • Salle de bain beaucoup trop petite et surtout avec une porte en verre sablé face au WC
  • (Travelling alone)
you don t get what they promise you
  • + it was carnaval
  • i got a double room for single use, supposedly for 16 sq. meters, but it was 10 or 11 at the most and because of carnaval they dared to ask 81 euro per night excl. tourist taks.

A very well priced, hotel - your money's worth!
  • + Very nice hotel, lots of ambience, excellent service, breakfast, and dinner choice The hotel is on a square and a lot goes on on the square, like flea markets, shows, etc.
  • nil
  • * my tip when you plan your trip, get to know the name of the basement car park, and set your gps accordingly. You cannot reach the hotel by stopping your car outside.
  • (Families with young children)
simple hotel but the location has a lot to offer...
  • + Free Wifi, good location, within walking distance to shopping areas, attractions.
  • An electric kettle, few cups, spoons and small plates would be good additions.
  • (Travelling alone)
good service but single room over-priced

  • * my tip single rooms rather over-priced
  • (Other)
  • + Exceptional value and great location. Our room overloking the square was great was ideal - especially when the band marched through one evening. Staff very friendly and helpful.
  • Would have liked more fruit and yoghurts at breakfast.
  • * my tip Maastricht is a good walking city but to really appreciate it hire bikes and saved your feet from the cobbles.
  • (Other)
Clean and friendly hotel
  • + hygenic, very convenient location, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet
  • Room is too small, no tea/coffee is provided Bed lamp is too close to the pillow/bed head. If it is switched on, it rapidly becomes extramely hot. I almost burnt my finger when i tried to change the angle of the lamp. I had my hair slightly burnt when i leaned on a pillow/bed head. Dangerous.
  • * my tip no
  • (Friends)
Good location, friendly atmosphere and rooms nice and clean
  • (Travelling alone)
Reasonable and central.
  • + Clean, comfortable and very central. Accomodation seems to be a little bit expensive in Maastricht but this may due to the fact that there was an arts festival in full swing at the time I arrived. Nonetheless, not bad for the price. Good beer.
  • (Travelling alone)
great value, great location
  • + centrally located in the markt so ideal to get exploring straight away.wonderful view from my balcony. great breaksfast included in the price.
  • room very small and bi fold shower room door was awkward. unable to have dinner in the attached restaurant as there was a private would be helpful for breakfast staff to seat guests and explain that it is ALL self service (including hot drinks).
  • (Other)
fine hotel in the centre of Maastricht
  • + located in the city centre, close to parking Mosae Forum, nice view over the cities roofs from rooms on the top floor, sunny terrace on the market in the afternoon
  • bad smell in the elevator
  • (Travelling alone)
Great central hotel
  • + Very central great to step out with breakfast in the centre of the town
  • Noisy in the square at night windows not soundproof
  • (Travelling alone)
not spectacular, but relatively cheap & fine for short stays
  • + - in relative terms, non-expensive - clean and tidy
  • - room went to inner court, air-con channel slightly noisy
  • (Travelling alone)
Some value for money in city center Maastricht
  • + I had a 4th floor room on the back side of the hotel which was quiet, with a view on the old city. Hotel is located in the very city center of Maastricht at the Marketplace. Compared to the other hotels in Maastricht fairly cheap.
  • Very small room, 1p room with two single beds leaving just enough space to turn walk in, turn around and walk out again. Window half blocked by the elevator shaft with a penetrant wastewater stench originating from that same elevator shaft. This might be room specific, but I guess all floors had an identical room next to the elevator shaft. And by the way, the coffee at breakfast was, despite the existence of a very modern espresso machine, coming from a miserable automate with bad, bad quality.
  • (Travelling alone)
Nice little hotel on market square
  • + Good value, central location, clean and tidy, free wifi, nice breakfast, relaxed atmosphere
  • tiny room/bathroom
  • (Travelling alone)

  • (Friends)
Lovely staff good food and loved the jazz.
  • + Really approachable friendly staff. Loved the jazz in the evening. Good shower. Quiet. Good breakfast
  • Doorknob on door fitting missing and front door of room a bit marked. Small room.
  • (Travelling alone)
Don't stay here if you want to sleep well
  • + Central location
  • I was kept awake at night by street cleaners, and woken up by them again in the morning. And I wore earplugs. Matresses were very not comfortable. I had to layer duvets just to lie down. I'm very glad I was only staying 2 nights. It was the only downside of my visit to Maastricht. If I visit the city again, I will pick a place that is NOT on the Markt.
  • (Travelling alone)
Comfortable, very well positioned
  • (Travelling alone)
Don't go there
  • + Good Location
  • Reception employees seemed nice in the beginning, but on the first problem they became very aggressive. The hotel was smelly. I wanted to cancel my last day and after a loooooooong discussion the smart receptionist said you booked online then take your money online, although I paid at the hotel!!!!!!! They kept saying we can't give you your money, and I had to stay one more day against my will. Don't recommend it at all
  • (Travelling alone)

I recommend this hotel
  • (Travelling alone)
  • + Friendly staff, hotel was centrally located.
  • bed was very narrow.
  • (Young couples)
  • + This hotel has a beautiful location right on the square within minutes of the tourist info center and all kinds of restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly, the morning breakfast was good, and the rooms are nicely decorated & clean.
  • None really, it was a pleasant experience all around.
  • (Other)
  • + It was a nice atmosphere with a friendly staff. The cafe was also nice. The hotel was located in a very convenient location.
  • The hotel is right next to a late night dance club that is open until 5:00am. We were woken up numerous times throughout the night by loud music and drunk people screaming.
  • (Young couples)
  • + Centric
  • Tiny room
  • (Travelling alone)
  • + Staffs are kind, at six o'clock in the morning the day I left, they offered me coffee although the breakfast was at 7.
  • The door of room was only closed when it was locked otherwise it was going to open. The room was very small I think it was 5 square meter. There was no soap or shampoo. Toilet and bathroom is totally 1.5 square meter. Lavabo is too small to put any thing on. There was no hairdryer. The glass at room and restaraunt are not so clean.
  • (Travelling alone)
  • + Great location! Great bar too; you can come back to the hotel and have a final drink before going to sleep. Staff was very helpful. They changed rooms for me when the heater in mine wasn't working, and did it quickly and apologized for the inconvenience. Although the beds were small, they were very comfortable.
  • Check in is not the easiest. You go around the back of the bar, and the same staff are making drinks and checking you in, which meant I had to wait to get any service. No phones. You have to go down and compete with the bar patrons if you want anything. Room was TINY. But I didn't mind so much, since I only used the room for sleeping. Rooms facing out to the main square are a little noisy, but not too bad.
  • (Travelling alone)
  • + Very good location. Nice staff.
  • No coffee facilities and small hanging TV.
  • (Travelling alone)
  • + Very central location & good bar
  • Rooms facing sqaure are noisy in evening
  • (Young couples)
  • + We spent only one night of the two nights booked and the money for the second night was returned to us at our request.
  • The room we were given had no windows besides a small dome in the roof. The bathroom closed with a curtain instead of a door. The bed was stuck on three sides between walls. The room was clearly not a renovated room, as we requested while booking.
