Nice Stay

- fitness area was great - helpful front desk staff - nice coffee area on the first level - wonderful buffet in the morning

- beds were almost too soft - hotel was beside a fairly major road, so we were not able to open our window at night in fear of noise keeping us awake - no coffee maker in room; they provided instant coffee and a kettle but everyone knows instant is gross. Coffee area was on our floor which made up for it

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, catering for all tastes. All of the staff were very helpful. Quiet location and only 30 minutes walking distance to city centre. Wireless internet connection - our 16 yr old was delighted - we had our laptop!

There was an unpleasant odour from the drains in the en-suite bathroom but not anything bad enough to inform maintenance staff.

Positive stay at hotel

We had two meals in the bar area and the food was very good. The service from the staff was fabulous, they were all pleasant and keen to help.

We had a problem with the credit card when trying to pay. My partner had already contacted our credit card company and had bee told that the problem was with the hotels bank and they requested that the hotel contact the bank. Despite this the member of staff at reception refused to do so resulting in my partner using another credit card to pay. Also the price I had been quoted which was on a printed copy of an email was questioned and the receptionist stated that the price was actually higher. Following a debate she relented and we paid the quoted price. This member of staff was rude to my partner and had been off-hand previously. Despite this our stay was very enjoyable and we would definately return.

Very friendly staff. The hotel ambiance was very inviting. The rooms are quite roomy and comfortable. Having a flat panel television definitely removed clutter from the room and give it more space.

The hotel is nearer the outskirt of the city and hence not much activities within the immediate hotel vicinity. It is situated in a residential area so if you want to be around the center of town, you must drive at least 10 minutes and contend with parking. Also, the rooms do not have a clock so make sure you have a watch or travel clock if you want to know the time.

the a/c was not working properly; as we were on the 5th floor, we could open the windows without too much fear of flies, but i'm sure the lower floors were not so nice. also, only a small fan was provided for relief. it was strange to have to use our room entry card to use the a/c.

even lekker genieten

luxe kamer wat wij erg fijn vonden was dat je zelf de mogelijkheid had om een bakje koffie of thee op de kamer te nemen. maar de koffie beneden smaakte ook prima en was niet duur (1.60). ontbijt was prima voor elkaar.

vrijdagavond hebben wij hwt diner gehad in het restaurant, smaakte prima, alleen de serveerster sprak ons steeds aan met dame en heer. Wij begin 30 ers vonden dit erg storend!!! zaterdagavond was de bediening ondanks grote drukte heel vlot en aardig.

Uiteindelijk gerustgesteld

Mijn vrouw was plotseling onwel geworden om middernacht,waarop ik verzocht of men met spoed een ambulance of een dokter kon sturen.Hier werd adeqaat op gereageerd waardoor we snel geholpen konden worden,gelukkig hoefden we niet naar een ziekenhuis.mijn vrouw is inmiddels aan de betere hand hiervoor onze hartelijke dank.

Nadat we ons geinstalleerd hadden in de hotelkamer en alles in kasten opgeborgen hadden ,kwamen we plots, tot de ontdekking dat de tv het niet deed.Mijn vrouw is daarop meteen naar de receptie gegaan met het verzoek of men daar iets aan kon doen.Er zou geen afstandsbedieningsapparaat aanwezig zijn.Aangekomen met een ander apparaat bleek dit ook niet te werken,waarop ons werd medegedeeld dat we onze spullen maar weer in moesten pakken om naar een andere kamer te verhuizen.We hebben aan dat verzoek voldaan en zijn toen naar een andere kamer verhuisd,gelukkig wel op de zelfde etage Maar ook daar bleek in zijn geheel geen afstandsbediening aanwezig te zijn,waarop we dus wederom ons beklag hebben gedaan bij de receptie,daarop kreeg iedereen de schuld van het gebeuren inclusief de housekeeper.Uiteindelijk is het wel in orde gebracht,maar het heeft wel de nodige ergernis meegebracht Hierbij is duidelijk gebleken dat de controles van de kamers wel wat meer aandacht verdiend

wordt goed door de anwb aangegeven; tot 10:30 kun je aanschuiven voor ontbijt; zowel bad als douche aanwezig

termostaat stond op 30 graden; douche heeft geen mengkraan; hebben raam open moeten laten en hoorden daardoor alle auto's op rijkswegen rijden/ je slaapt dan nauwelijks dus; door rugklachten werd springbox bedden niet erg gewaardeerd

Comfortabel luxe hotel dichtbij verkeersaders en binnenstad Maastricht

ruime schone kamer, goede bedden, complete mooie badkamer, uitstekend ontbijt, heel vriendelijk personeel overal.

er ontbreekt "normale" sfeerverlichting in de badkamer, er is alleen heel fel wit tl-licht, niet prettig. Verder geen minpunten te melden.
