The hotel is surrounded by the beautiful Frisian landscape, which is perfect for a long walk or a bicycle tour. On the IJsselmeer lake you can enjoy various aquatic sports. Guests who would like to go surfing or sailing can hire all the necessary materials in the immediate vicinity. Makkum is an authentic Frisian village with original shops and cosy restaurants. The cosy bars and surf shops along the boulevard ensure a relaxed holiday atmosphere. In the area where the hotel is located are many facilities for young and old available including a basketball and volleyball court, mini golf and table tennis.
