De Rustende Jager is an attractive family-run hotel in the charming village of Nieuw Vennep. The hotel couples service and quality with good hospitality. The de Jong Family and their staff will greet you with a warm welcome. Drinks are served on the outdoor terrace in front of the hotel, and you can enjoy a delicious dinner and good wines at the brasserie. And why not round off your day with a nice drink at the bar?

The hotel is a good base for enjoying lovely walks and bike rides through the bulb region or the Westeinderplassen. It's also easy to take an excursion to the cities of Amsterdam, The Hague, Leiden, Haarlem and Noordwijk aan Zee as these cities are within a 20-kilometre range of the hotel. A 20-minute drive will take you to the RAI in Amsterdam or to Lisse; a town renowned for its magnificent flowers during the world-famous Keukenhof season. Furthermore, you can be at Schiphol Amsterdam Aiport within a 20-minute train journey.

Surroundings

From De Rustende Jager it's possible to take an excursion to Amsterdam, Leiden and Haarlem; cities which boast a rich history, culture and a vibrant nightlife. The seaside resorts of Noordwijk aan Zee and Zandvoort are great if you fancy a day at the beach. The hotel's direct vicinity comprises a vast, typically Dutch picture postcard landscape with beautiful bulb fields. Schiphol Amsterdam Airport can also be easily reached within a 15-minute drive.

Food & Drink

A breakfast buffet is served on Monday from 07:00 until 11:00, from Tuesday through Friday from 06:00 until 11:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 11:00. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the hotel's Brasserie. The kitchen is open for lunch from 12:00. Guests are able to enjoy dinner in the Brasserie until 21:30. In addition to an extensive à la carte menu, the chef also creates a set menu which changes each month. Every week, a dish or seasonal speciality is put in the spotlight. You can delight in delectable dishes for an attractive price in the Brasserie. What's more, hotel guests receive a 10% discount.
