Surroundings

Dubbed the 'Green Heart', this beautiful rural area in the Netherlands is one you can explore during your stay at Hotel Van der Valk Rotterdam-Nieuwerkerk. The nearby recreational area Rottemeren is perfect for walking and water sports. Stay away of the smoking rooms at this hotel

  • – Very small uggly rooms, unconfortable and very narrow beds, Heating is very bad, bathroom very small and the showers are very poorly designed with water splashing everywhere.

Great value, lovely hotel, just make sure location is suitable

And i hate the design of drain plugs that are used in the bathroom basins, they never open properly and always leave stuff in the basin ! This i have noticed as i have stayed at this hotel about four or five times.

Heb het de volgende ochtend aangegeven bij de receptie, die netjes zei dat we hadden kunnen bellen en dat we dan een nieuwe kamer gekregen zouden hebben. Maar om nou half slapend midden in de nacht in je pyama, met al je hebben en houwen weer naar een andere kamer te verhuizen......... Maar volgende keer komen we gewoon weer en checken dan van tevoren het horraam even :-)

My view
  • – I have stayed in the hotel a few times. I find it very dark, especially the corridors are dark and dreary. The location is also not good as it is surrounded by trees. There is no view from my bedroom !
