Description
De Sfeerstal literally means The Atmosphere Stable. The hotel rooms in this Bed & Breakfast are equipped with comfortable box spring beds and a private bathroom. The rooms have a wonderful view of the large flower garden and the golf course next to the hotel.
The central theme in Hotel De Sfeerstal is 'flowers'. The decor of the rooms is inspired by the many beautiful flowers in the large garden. Guests are welcome to pick their own buch and arrange them. All rooms have flowery names such as the Daisy Room and the Sunflower Room. The rooms are decorated in the colours of the flowers.
In the atmospheric Tea House, walkers and hotel guests can enjoy homemade cakes and a nice cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast and lunch are served in this room as well. When the weather is nice you can enjoy your drink or fresh cake on the Tea House terrace. The outside heater is lit when it gets a bit colder.
Food and Drinks
A delicious breakfast is served in the Tea House between 07:00 and 10:00 h. You can try the homemade breads and delicious jams and a freshly laid egg. The many different homemade jams are also for sale.
In the afternoon the Tea House is the place to go for a farm lunch or high tea.
The hotel does not have a bar-restaurant but guests can get drinks from the bar in the Garden Room.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check-in until 18:00 h. In case you would like to check-in after 18:00 h., you need to contact the reception in advance.

Surroundings
Hotel De Sfeerstal in Nieuwveen is located in the Green Heart, an area with a predominantly rural character in the middle of the Randstad area. Here you will find peace and quiet and space. It is a wonderful area for cycling or walking; the almost 200 km long Green Heart footpath runs through this area. Nieuwveen lies between the towns of Alphen aan den Rijn, Uithoorn and Aalsmeer. A visit to the famous flower auction at Aalsmeer is a must. Golfers do not have to travel far if they wish to play a round: B&B De Sfeerstal is located next to the 18-hole golf course at the Golf & Country Club Liemeer.
