Hotel Hoogeerd Niftrik is a modern and hospitable hotel with a great location on one of the 'Maas' river's branches. The water offers many possibilities for water sport enthusiasts, such as sailing, rowing, and surfing. From the hotel's sun terrace you can observe the many activities that are bound to occur in summer. The advantage of this place, however, is that it is still relatively quiet compared to other water sport areas.
All rooms are equipped with a shower, toilet, telephone, and television. Some rooms have a balcony and there is also an elevator. For parties and business meetings the hotel offers conference rooms that can house up to 350 persons. There are also two smaller conference rooms at a quiet location. Guests can make free use of the fitness room and the infrared sauna. At the reception they can inform you about the (limited) opening hours of these facilities.
Food and Drinks
Hotel guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet on weekdays from 06:30 to 10:00 h. and on weekends between 08:00 and 10:30 h. Lunch is served between 12:00 and 17:00 h. Guests can choose from a traditional lunch menu with savoury home-made dinners, such as soup and salads. Between 17:00 and 21:00 one can enjoy a delicious dinner. The extensive menu contains seasonal and regional specialities, daily changing home-made soups, a three-course meal, and a daily special. There are also vegetarian meals.
All through the day the homely café area is open, where you can throw some darts, play pool, cards, and of course enjoy a nice drink. From 10:00 h. it is possible to order a cup of coffee with a piece of pie. The opening hours of this café are from 08:00 to 01:00 h. The café offers a beautiful view of the 'Maas' river and the passing boats.

Hotel Hoogeerd Niftrik is located in a recreational area in the region 'Land van Maas en Waal'. From the hotel guests can go sailing, biking, walking, and in-line skating. There are various routes available at the reception. In the hotel's direct surroundings there are several monuments that can be visited, among which a castle in Wijchen. The historic castle garden is especially interesting. A visit to Nijmegen, Holland's oldest city, is also highly recommended.
