Friendly staff. Good bar.

Wireless internet access is awful. I paid for acces in my room (KPN) and struggled to get a signal that was fast enough to allow me to work. Access in the bar (KPNFree) is good when it works. However it was sporadic and also suffers from the same issues as the room wireless access.

Fabulous, service oriented boutique hotel in Nijmegen

The hotel - rooms, restaurant etc... is beautiful and modern - very luxurious and hip. A classic "Cool" boutique hotel. The food and drink at the restaurant were fantastic, the room had in-room espresso maker, juice and water for free, as well as a Mac set up with music and videos. Fabulous service and we felt like royalty as soon as we walked in!

Nijmegen is not a typical tourist destination in the Netherlands, so sadly some people may miss this wonderful hotel. The only real minus point for us was a lack of parking at the hotel (but there was parking very close by). Our room was also on the top floor (4 flights of stairs) - this was no problem for us (and was great after a big meal) - but might be an issue for some - there are lower floor rooms as well for anyone who might have a problem with stairs.

Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Molenhoek is close to Nijmegen and is easily accessible via the A73 motorway. The food was very good as was the service in the restaurant.

There were very noisy customers in the hotel which kept me awake for a couple of hours in the night. When I tried to phone the reception desk to complain the line was always engaged and I was unable to get someone on the phone. There was also a constant buzzing in the room. Airco?

kamer met balcon waar je niet op mocht roken, dat het niet binnen mag weten we nu wel maar buiten op je balcon!!!! En kregen een kamer aan de voorkant en op onze bevestiging stond achterzijde met uitzicht op bos,
