The Apollo Hotel Nijmegen is located close to the Keizer Karelplein square, where the theatres Concertgebouw and Stadsschouwburg can also be found. Het ontbijt was lekker en er werd ook constant aangevuld. Handig plattegrondje was bij de receptie verkrijgbaar. Bij het uitchecken mocht onze bagage de hele dag achterblijven bij de receptie. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.; De stop in de wastafel ontbrak: kan onhandig zijn wanneer je bijvoorbeeld contactlenzen wilt reinigen. De thermostaatkraan in de douche kon niet kouder gezet worden. De minpuntjes vallen echter in het niet bij alle pluspunten!

Perfecte locatie voor een stedentrip.; Kamer lag bovenin het hotel, erg warm. Maar door het dekbed uit de hoes te halen goed op te lossen. Raam open is geen optie, daar het hotel gelegen is aan een rumoerige straat. Ramen zelf zijn zeer isolerend, waardoor je daar bij gesloten ramen bijna niks hoort.
