Description

The Apollo Hotel has a central location in Nijmegen, on the Keizer Karelplein. The hotel rooms have, among other facilities, a flat screen television, a minibar, a safe, and free wireless internet. In the bathroom you will find a bath and/or shower, a toilet, and a hair dryer.

In the morning the staff set up an extensive breakfast buffet. On Monday through Friday guests can have breakfast between 07:00 and 10:00h and from 08:00 to 10:00h on weekends. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but the centre of Nijmegen has an abundance of good restaurants and bistros.

Guests who have a laptop can use the hotel's wireless internet connection at not charge.

Surroundings

Nijmegen has a rich history. It is the oldest city in The Netherlands and has countless remarkable buildings, such as the Belvédère tower and the St. Maartens chapel. Also, the city is known for its vibrant nightlife. Especially around the Koningsplein and the Grote Markt there are numerous restaurants and cafés to be found. The Apollo Hotel is located near the theatres Stadsschouwburg and Concertgebouw, where one can see a good play or concert.

Kort bij centraal station.; - Geen lift aanwezig. Toch wel wat stevig trappen lopen. Mogelijk een te kleine ontbijtruimte wat bij een vol hotel misschien ot wat stress kan leiden.

Renate Aardig hotel met goede ligging: 16 January 2011; 7.2; + - grote nette kamers - ideaal gelegen, niet ver van het station en het centrum/uitgaansgelegenheiden (de vereeniging) - keurig verzorgd ontbijt - alles ziet er schoon en verzorgd uit; - - ondanks dat het Auping bedden waren, vonden wij het comfort tegenvallen - erg gehorig: 's nachts een paar uur wakker gelegen omdat de verdieping boven is steeds aan het heen en weer wandelen was, althans zo leek het. Het is een oud pand met een houten verdiepingsvloer
